I adore this book! It holds so much happy nostalgia for me, as I read and re-read it many times as a youngster. The characters especially are so easy to fall in love with! Have you read any others in the series? I've read a few but this one was always a far favorite.
Oh man, I haven’t read the book but I saw the movie a few years ago! I didn’t know at the time that it was based on a book. I don’t remember too much of it, so I’ll have to read the book now!
It’s a lovely book and really fun to read! Don’t expect it to be as thought-provoking or deep as many classics often are, but it’s a great weekend read :)
